Tombstone Territory Rendezvous is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Tombstone, Arizona — “The Town Too Tough to Die.” Founded in 2012, TTR brings together historians, authors, researchers, legal professionals, and history enthusiasts to explore the people, places, and events that shaped the Old West.

Through scholarship, storytelling, and immersive experiences, we connect past and present — and invite new generations to discover why history still matters.

oUR mISSION

Our mission is to increase and disseminate knowledge of the historic events, notable individuals, and cultural heritage of Tombstone, Cochise County, and the early Southwest borderlands. Through education, research, discussion, and community engagement, we strive to make Western history accessible, relevant, and meaningful.

Our story

Founded in 2012, Tombstone Territory Rendezvous began as a small group of historians and history lovers united by a passion for Tombstone’s heritage. Over time, TTR has grown into a respected nonprofit organization hosting nationally recognized presenters, multi‑day symposiums, and field‑based historical experiences. Today, TTR is proud to serve as a bridge between academic research, public history, and community storytelling.
